Short and sweet

You know how in school, when we have to do a project in the library, we have to do works cited. The whole point of that is to make sure we don't take credit for something someone else wrote. My argument is simple: WHY WOULD YOU PUBLISH YOUR WORK IF YOU DIDN'T WANT PEOPLE TO USE IT. The whole system just bugs me. Well that's it, pretty self explanitory.

I totally agree with this point too. I mean first of all MLA is a load of crap. Who in the world sat around in a room and made up all those rules for citing? Complete and utter nonsense I say. And I think that if people didn't want their stuff used they shouldn't have it out there for us either, you make a valid point.
